Beneficial Effects of Massage
The benefits of massage include pain relief, reduced anxiety and depression, and temporarily reduced blood pressure and heart rate. Massage therapy activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which stimulates the release of endorphins and serotonin. It prevents fibrosis or scar tissue, increases the flow of lymph and improves sleep.

Swedish
This European massage technique employs gentle flowing strokes to promote complete relaxation, increase circulation, and enhance skin and muscle tone. A Swedish Massage makes an excellent gift and is a wonderful way to wind down.
Neck and Shoulder
Pampering the tension areas of the neck and shoulders, this massage relaxes and reduces effects of emotional and physical stresses.
Deep Tissue
Excellent for deep relaxation, pain relief and soothing long term muscle tension and soreness. Deep tissue massage promotes overall health.
Injury/Treatment
This is a massage treatment which focuses on problem areas and injuries to increase range of motion, promote relaxation and to increase relief from pain and stress.
Sports
This customized treatment is a pre-event or during event massage to prevent injury and enhance performance, followed by a post-event treatment to relax and renew.
Shiatsu
An ancient oriental modality of massage that is exceptionally good for relaxation and flexibility, Shiatsu massage is given on a thick mat upon the floor. The client wears loose fitting clothing. This massage helps reduce stress and increases range of motion and the flow of Chi through the body. Shiatsu helps relieve insomnia and other similar disorders. Enjoy being left with a feeling of balance, restfulness and relaxation after an hour of Shiatsu massage.
Thai
Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than more classic forms of massage. Thai massage is also called Thai yoga massage, because the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Many people say Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work.
Hot Stone
A stone massage uses stones, sometimes heated, to massage the body. The hardness of the stones allows the therapist to address specific problem areas with more detailed work or deeper pressure. Basalt stones of various sizes, shapes and weights are used throughout and heated in water.
Salt or Sugar Scrub
This invigorating body treatment combines a blend of pure Celtic sea salt or super fine sugar with your choice of essential oils to revitalize and exfoliate your skin and promote healthy circulation. Shea butter is then applied to seal in minerals and moisture, promoting health and leaving your body feeling unbelievably smooth and soft.
Detoxifying Sea Algae Cocoon
Hydrate and detoxify with an all-over body treatment. The skin is gently exfoliated. Then you are covered in a layer of miconized spirulina and wrapped in warmth to stimulate cells, ease pain, detoxify the body, improve circulation and eliminate fatigue. Gently the algae is removed with warm, moist towels and the body massaged with a moisturizing blend of Shea butter and oil.
Rejuvenating Vitamin Moisture Wrap
A gentle exfoliation is followed by warm melted Shea butter generously brushed on to the body. Relax in a warm wrap as your body absorbs the benefits of this renewing spa treatment.
Soothing Spa Foot Treatment
Relax and ease sore, tired feet in a warm cleansing soak. Your skin’s surface is then restored with an invigorating foot scrub. Next, needed moisture is replaced during a relaxing foot and lower leg massage using hydrating elements.
Aromatherapy
An ancient treatment combining the healing arts of massage and essential oil blends to induce a state of complete relaxation. Indulge your senses and your body with this enhanced treatment.
